Brandon, Michael Age 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital-Southlake Campus in Merrillville, IN. He was born to L.V. Brandon and Bernice McLemore on October 19, 1952 in Chicago, IL. Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gloria Brandon; loving sons, Adam J. of New York, NY and Jason G. of Lancaster, CA. Graduated from Gary Roosevelt High School, class of 1972. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy with honorable discharge. Attended Indiana University, graduated from Purdue University. Employed at Republic Steel, retired from AT&T after 27 years as Construction Manager and Cable Engineer. Mike's career also included DMS programming in South Bend, IN., Telecommunications Specialist with SBC in Lake County IN and telephone installation/repair in Gary IN and Licensed Real Estate agent. Preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bernice Mclemore; father, L.V. Brandon, and sister, Virginia Vasquez. Michael also survived by his sister, Carolyn Brandon (Anthony Edgington); brother and bestfriend, Drake Chetham, and brother, Steven McLemore; aunt, Laurice Harris; nephews, Anthony Jr and Eric Edgington; niece, Candance Vasquez, and a host of extended family, friends. Michael will be deeply missed by his loving family and dear friends. May He Rest In Eternal Peace.
