Janet Perry
RIP
tribute by Adraine IngramRIP
tribute by Adraine IngramI knew Janet Perry from Beckman Jr. High School, she was so funny and cute. She was a tomboy like myself. We played volleyball, and other sports at school. Hey does any one remember Mr. Skye the principal of Beckman Jr. High? We gave him a run for the money. This was the first time they allowed girls to wear pants. Did any one get tried of wearing dresses all the time? So, the school agreed and history was made at that time. Now all young ladies are able to wear pants. So we became a part of a new generation that we were able to wear pants. Janet was a friend that got along with everyone, she had a beautiful smile, a crazy girl, nothing ever made her upset . We use to dance in white socks on the gummy floor, or turn flips to become a cheerleader. We went to Jr High with the Jackson Five. I use to watch them when I walked by them playing baseball in the back of Velt. Well my best friend, you are gone, and you are truly missed by every one that loved you. Vicki Owens/Lomax
